Nicolas Jackson's entourage are trying to once again salvage a deal for the 24-year-old striker to join Bayern Munich today.
Chelsea had agreed a deal with Bayern for Jackson to move to the Allianz Arena on an initial season-long loan deal on Saturday morning. The Blues striker was given permission by his employers to fly to Munich to finalise the move but during Chelsea's 2-0 win over Fulham, Liam Delap limped off with a hamstring injury.
Delap is set to be out for several weeks with the injury, so Chelsea decided to cancel Jackson's loan and informed the Senegal striker he must fly back to London, despite just landing in Munich. Jackson and his representatives were left unhappy with the circumstances and tried to salvage a deal with the German champions.

Chelsea would allow Jackson to leave on a permanent basis, but Bayern have been insistent on a loan move ever since registering their interest.
Late on Sunday night, with less than 24 hours of the summer transfer window remaining, football.london was told by insiders close to the deal that the move was 100% off. There were no talks to try and rescue Jackson's loan to Bayern. On Monday morning, though, the same sources confirmed talks are back underway with Jackson desperate to move to the Allianz.
His agent, Ali Barat, is in Munich at the time of writing desperately trying to save the deal. The next few hours before the summer transfer window draws to its conclusion are crucial for Jackson, who is due to fly to Senegal for the international break.
Meanwhile, Marc Guiu is expected to return from his loan with Sunderland following the injury to Delap. The Spaniard is set to return to Stamford Bridge after Chelsea held talks with the Black Cats over the weekend.
Elsewhere, the Blues are closing in on a deal to sign Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton on a season-long loan deal, football.london understands. Chelsea are very close to striking an agreement with the Seagulls that will see the 20-year-old move to Stamford Bridge for the remainder of the campaign.
Sources close to the deal very much expect it to be completed before the 7pm deadline. Meanwhile, fellow Brighton star Julio Enciso is expected to join Strasbourg for just shy of £14million with Chelsea planning on keeping a close eye on his development in France.
