Arsenal transfer target Rodrygo Goes has shared a wordless message on Instagram, as speculation over his future at Real Madrid rumbles on.
Mikel Arteta has already significantly strengthened his squad this summer with the signings of Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, and Cristhian Mosquera. The most recent addition saw Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres complete a highly anticipated move to the Emirates Stadium.
However, Arsenal’s business may not be finished yet, with the left wing still seen as an area in need of reinforcement. Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze has been linked in recent weeks, but Real Madrid's Rodrygo remains a name that simply won’t go away.

The Brazilian, still only 24, could be one of the highest-profile players to move this summer, with both Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly interested. Numerous news outlets in Spain in recent months suggest that while Rodrygo isn’t necessarily pushing for a move away from the Bernabeu, he may have little choice, as new head coach Xabi Alonso reportedly does not see him as part of his long-term plans.
Rodrygo made just three appearances during Madrid's Club World Cup campaign this summer, totalling 92 minutes. He started only once in their opening group game against Al Hilal.
With Madrid’s season having come to a close earlier this month, Rodrygo is currently on holiday and clearly in a relaxed mood, soaking up the sun in Ibiza before the full squad returns for pre-season training next Monday. He shared an Instagram story lying in a hammock, accompanied by island and Spanish flag emojis.

The latest indication that the La Liga giants are open to offloading the attacker came earlier this week. Earlier in the window, several Spanish outlets reported that Madrid would seek a fee in the region of £77 million for Rodrygo this summer.
However, outlet AS now claims they are willing to lower that asking price in an effort to finalise a sale before the transfer window closes. With Rodrygo still having three years remaining on his contract, it remains unclear how much Madrid are prepared to reduce the price by.
