How much will be the reward?
It is worth noting that the top 20 reels will be given a reward of Rs 2,000 2,000 by the government. According to the information given by the government, you can submit the reel related to this scheme through the MyGov portal till September 13, 2025.
According to the information available on the MyGov portal, this contest is open to all citizens of the country. However, keep in mind that your video reel should not be more than 90 seconds. As far as the language is concerned, it can be in Hindi, English, or any other language used more in the country.
Only 1 reel allowed
According to the rules, every participant can create only one reel. The reel must be uploaded on Instagram with the hashtag #mysolarreel, and the profile must be public. Apart from this, reels created with artificial intelligence and automated editing tools must have clear disclosure. The top reel can also be shared with credit by the government.
Subsidy is available for installing rooftop solar in homes.
According to reports, government initiatives like PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme have been helpful in accelerating the growth of the renewable energy sector. This is also helping people to save. This scheme will be very helpful in achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by the year 2030.
