Amid Samantha Ruth Prabhu's cosy photos with Raj Nidimoru, a look at the director's networth and educational qualifications

Send Push
Speculation is once again swirling around actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s personal life after she shared a series of warm, intimate photos from her US vacation — many of which prominently featured filmmaker Raj Nidimoru. The rumoured romance between the two has caught fire online, especially after fans spotted a telling photo of the duo walking arm-in-arm through the streets of Detroit, Michigan.

As fans speculate about their relationship, interest has also surged around Raj Nidimoru — his background, career, and even net worth.

Raj Nidimoru’s net worth
According to a Dainik Jagran report, Raj Nidimoru’s estimated net worth currently stands at ₹83–85 crore (approximately USD 10 million), a reflection of his success as one half of the Raj & DK directorial duo, known for projects like The Family Man and Farzi.

Born in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, Raj met his longtime creative partner, Krishna DK while studying engineering. Both started off as software engineers, far removed from the world of Indian cinema. Their Bollywood journey was anything but conventional.'

His first film
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Raj recounted the early days when he, DK, and Sita Menon moved to Mumbai without a single connection in the industry. Betting on odds, they wrote three full-length scripts: 99, Shor in the City, and Go Goa Gone, hoping one would take off. Eventually, 99 became their debut, but pitching it without industry ties was an uphill task. Their luck changed when Anupam Mittal, now known from Shark Tank India and Shaadi.com, offered to produce the film, having known Raj and DK from their earlier days. Still, convincing actors was hard, so they shot a short film based on Shor in the City. It made waves at festivals and became their calling card. That effort helped them assemble a talented cast, and though 99 had minimal marketing, it earned critical attention and a solid run in theatres.
