A morning of drinking among friends turned deadly in Wadala today when Nikhil Sakharam Londhe, 32, was brutally murdered by two brothers, Kalpesh Kudtarkar, 29, and Yogesh Kudtarkar, 31, following a drunken dispute. The horrific incident occurred around 6 AM on the footpath of Raghunath Sakharam Mahadik Road, near the Wadala Bus Depot.
According to the police, all three individuals the deceased and the two accused were known to each other and had prior criminal cases registered against them at the police station. While the three were drinking together, a dispute broke out, following which the two brothers allegedly attacked Londhe with a sharp weapon.

Upon receiving information, the Rafi Ahmed Kidwai (RAK) Marg Police promptly reached the scene and launched an investigation. Police responded rapidly to the crime, apprehending the accused brothers within a mere 15 minutes of the incident.
A murder case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
