Justin Timberlake has worried fans with his appearance ahead of his final Forget TomorrowWorld Tour show. The Cry Me A River star, 44, is due to wrap up his year-long tour on July 30, but some fans have expressed concern for the dad-of-two - while others have demanded a refund.
Justin, who is married to Hollywood actress, Jessica Biel, has been accused of 'hardly singing' and putting on 'lazy' performances during the gigs following a string of 'embarrassing and bare minimum' shows.
As he took to the stage in Georgia last week, his supporters urged the SexyBack star to 'take a break and recharge' following the damning backlash he has received.
Sticking up for the singer, they wrote: "I can’t believe it’s almost over! Going to miss you so much, but I know you are TIRED!!! So rest up good and we can do it all over again!"
Meanwhile, another said: "I saw you in Atlanta in November and you were amazing. Best concert I’ve been to. I think you just need a break and to recharge. You’ve been doing this tour for a year."
However, others weren't as understanding as they demanded their money back following the 'lacklustre' shows. One said: "Why is he treating performing like a side job?! How many words did you sing?'" Meanwhile, another quipped: "When are the audience getting paid for their performance? Imagine paying $600 to watch the crowd at a Justin Timberlake concert sing his songs."
One insider told theDaily Mail that Justin is 'in a rut' after shooting to fame with the Disney Club as a child and then later boy band, N-Sync, and desperately 'needs to do something new.'
After he played in Romania, a viral TikTok received thousands of likes after a fan who paid 'a lot of money' to see the Senorita star called him 'an absolute disappointment.'
Justin was late getting onstage, and then reportedly only sang a few words of each song, according to ticket-holders.
Expressing their disappointment, the TikTok user shared: "You can't be singing two songs and then taking a break," before calling Justin's behaviour "rude" and "disrespectful" before asking him to "rethink" the concept behind his tour. Many agreed with the claims and multiple fans demanded a refund.
Justin's world tour has been marred with controversy since his DWAI arrest in the Hamptons, US, last year where he hit the headlines when he told the officer: "This is going to ruin the tour".
The star was sentenced to community service last September after a judge rejected a “disappointing” plea deal that would have let the singer off with a small fine and public statement about his Hamptons drunk-driving arrest.
Justin pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of driving while alcohol impaired instead of the more serious charge of driving while intoxicated and told the judge: "“I should’ve had better judgment. I understand the seriousness of this.”
The Mirror has contacted Justin's reps for comment on this story.
