She took to her Instagram page to share snaps from her holiday as well as sharing a sweet message with her followers. Amy captioned the post: "What a day! Forever grateful! Two years ago I was doing everything I could to be alive with chemo ahead! Now I'm living every day to the fullest! Forever grateful."

"Honestly can't believe it. FaceTimed mom and dad and their reactions were just so cute." Amy has been open about her cancer journey over recent years.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer and shared her news in May 2023. The April beforehand Amy found a lump before she went on her honeymoon with fellow dancer Ben Jones.
Any then underwent a single mastectomy and chemotherapy for treatment. In February 2024 Amy confirmed that she had "no evidence of disease" based on recent medical tests.

She also rejoined Strictly for its milestone 20th-anniversary edition last year. Amy shared a post in April of this year where she marked two years since she found the lump.
Speaking to her followers, she said: "Two years ago I found my lump and my gut instinct told me it wasn’t good. I was in Blackpool, about to do a full day in the ballroom with all my students.
"That morning in the shower is when my heart sunk. I was also flying off on my long awaited honeymoon the next day. I knew in my gut it wasn’t right. The entire time I was away I was checking it everyday and googling when Ben wasn’t looking."
Amy confessed that at the time she thought that the holiday could be her "last" as she said her mind began to "spiral". She wrote: "I remember one day cycling back to our villa and actually thinking this might be my last holiday. Your mind spirals so quickly. It’s crazy how dates become so significant after a cancer diagnosis."
However, she went on to reveal she is in a much better place now saying: "So much has changed since then but I am so proud of how far I’ve come."
She ended the post by writing: "I always told myself during treatment this too shall pass and my fav moto of all time don’t get bitter get better. BUT what I really want to say and to get across is always trust your gut! You know your own body, don’t be scared to see your GP and express how you feel. Trust your instincts, trust your gut and remember you know YOU better than anyone else!"
