WWE recently offered a NIL deal to Gage Goldberg, son of legendary wrestler Goldberg. The deal allows college athletes to pay for using their name and image and train them at the Performance Center. However, Bill Goldberg turned down the offer, saying that WWE was paying Gage too little money. Goldberg clarified that his son Gage's main focus is on football at the moment and he is in no hurry to join WWE.

Gage Goldberg is currently playing football at the University of Colorado. His father has confirmed that Gage's dream is to become a successful football player. Goldberg said, 'This kid is like me. He wants to be a football player. It's his dream, it's in his blood. But WWE is not his priority.' Gage himself considers WWE a backup plan, indicating that his primary goal and passion is on the football field.
