BBC's hit antiques show Bargain Hunt made a huge announcement on social media this week as it thanked its loyal viewers for tuning in. The antiques show has made it to the final round of the TV Choice Awards 2026, and is shortlisted in the Best Daytime Show category. It will go up against Escape to the Country, Animal Park, Loose Women and This Morning.
The show's official social media account tweeted: "Thanks to you, we made it to the FINAL ROUND of the TV Choice Awards! We're shortlisted in the Best Daytime Show category. A vote for us would mean the world!", including a link so fans could cast their votes.
Plenty rushed to support the show, with one fan tweeting: "All done for you!" as someone else agreed: "Voted for you!"
A huge number of BBC shows have been shortlisted for the TV Choice Awards, with rival antiques programme Antiques Roadshow making it into the Best Lifestyle Show category alongside The Dog House, The Martin Lewis Money Show, Pete Wick: For Dogs' Sake and Sort Your Life Out.
Up for Best Reality Show are Dragons' Den, The Traitors, I'm A Celeb, Race Across the World and Stacey & Joe.
The Great British Sewing Bee, Great British Bake-Off, Britain's Got Talent, The Masked Singer and Strictly Come Dancing are all nominated for Best Talent Show.
And in the Best Entertainment Show genre, the options are Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad, Gogglebox, The Graham Norton Show, Michael McIntyre's Big Show and Would I Lie to You?
The nominations for Best Factual Show are 24 Hours in A&E, 24 Hours in Police Custody, Ambulance, Clarkson's Farm and Springtime/Winter on the Farm.
