Potters Resorts, which has two resorts in Essex and Norfolk, beat household names to the top. The resort boasts a lake and rifle-shooting range, while activities and West End-inspired entertainment were rated five stars by visitors.

Forest Holidays came in second, offering log cabin and treehouse accommodation in 13 woodland locations across the UK. All rooms have a hot tub as standard, and guests paid around £63pppn, with food, drinks, and activities costing extra.
