A body language expert has highlighted how Jonathan Ross hit the "self-destruct button" on Celebrity Traitors after his admission came to light that he didn't enjoy his time on the BBC reality show. He took it upon himself to warn his other A-lister pals against signing up for series two, admitting: "I know because I've had two celebrity friends of mine call me and say 'I've been approached - is it good to do, is it bad to do?' So I'm giving them the benefit of my experience, which was that I didn't enjoy it."
Now body language expert Judi James has told Express.co.uk on behalf of Paddy Power Bingo that it is the beginning of the end for Jonathan. She claims he "displayed all his weaknesses as a Traitor", explaining: "As a result, both his other Traitors were declaring open season on him - chuckling together as they planned to throw him under a bus if necessary."
She went on: "His lying style is one known as 'high performance'. These are usually people who enjoy creating a high-profile act of lying that they perform with relish and they are often prompted by a sense of superiority.
"Unfortunately for Jonathan though, he seems to be playing against his actual type with this lying style. He is showing many signs of discomfort, awkwardness and even guilt now, as though he's not really enjoying his own performances.
"His bravado and ruthlessness seem to be an act now. He looks like a man who is hiding the fact he really does have a big heart.
"So why is he driven to self-destruct like this? Jonathan is a big booking, and he knows expectations will be high in terms of viewer interest. Unlike the other contestants, Jonathan is a TV 'personality' with no skills in terms of acting, singing or sporting achievement.
"If he isn't a high performer on this show, he's not earning his fee. So, he might feel impelled to keep stepping up when he should be lying low to avoid detection as a Traitor."
Judi added: "Unlike Alan Carr, Ross also seems to lack the stomach for being ruthless. This combination of inner conflicts meant he made almost every mistake in the book last night. "
