A post shared on the professional social networking site LinkedIn, uploaded by Software company Astronomer, about its Head of HR, Kristin Cabo, has been taken down. This comes after she was caught in a romantic embrace with CEO Andy Byron on a kiss cam during Coldplay's Massachusetts show on Wednesday (July 16).
After landing on social media, the shocking clip took the internet by storm as people initially questioned the seemingly loved-up couple's reaction to being on the jumbotron. As their surprised faces raised brows, Kristin turned around and instantly covered her face, while Andy ducked to the ground. Coldplay's Chris Martin also called out their awkward reaction to being caught on camera and said: "Look at these two, either they're having an affair or they're very shy."
As the clip went viral on social media, it was reported that Andy was married while Kristin was divorced and were seemingly having an affair.
Due to the widespread attention, Astronomer's post about the HR professional was deleted. According to Us Weekly, the post was titled "An Exciting Day" and announced Kristin's hiring as the company's Chief People Officer.
However, since the post has since been deleted, the URL is no longer working, as the page now reads: "This post cannot be displayed."
While the company last posted on LinkedIn yesterday, comments on all of its posts have since been turned off. The original footage has amassed more than 18 million views on TikTok alone and fans were quick to identify Byron and Cabot in the clip.
Fans also suggested that the pair were seemingly joined by another colleague, Astronomer's Senior Director of People, Alyssa Stoddard, who looked frozen with embarrassment.
Kristin joined the company in November, with Andy praising her "exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management" at the time.
He added: "She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies, and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer."
In her own statement, she said she felt "energised in my conversations with Andy and the Astronomer leadership team about the opportunities that exist here".
Kristen added: "I prefer to think of my role as people strategy versus traditional human resources, as the real magic happens when you align the people strategy with the business strategy."
