Prince Louis may only be seven-years-old, but he is already a very popular royal. While he will most likely be a working royal in the future, carrying out official engagements and representing the monarchy as the son of a future King, for now he is simply like most other children attending school and playing sports.
Although he does benefit from some of the perks of royal life, one perk Louis is yet to experience is going on a royal tour with his parents Prince William and Princess Kate. This is something both his siblings Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 10, did when they were younger before they started school.
However, for Louis this was not the case, as his toddler years were during the Covid-19 pandemic when travel restrictions were in place.
He then joined his older siblings at school, with education coming before royal overseas trips with his parents - the main reason why he is yet to experience an official trip.
While this is not a big deal, royal fans may be surprised to know that Prince Archie - Louis' cousin - has gone on an official royal tour before Louis has, joining his parents on their 2019 trip to South Africa when he was just five months old.
This was just months before Archie's parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit royal life in 2020.
While Louis may not have gone on an official royal tour with his parents yet, this may not be far off in the future.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese met with King Charles at Balmoral recently and made it clear the Royal Family, especially William and Kate, are always welcome to visit.
As reported by The Mirror, the Australian Prime Minister seemed hopeful when he was asked whether Kate and William would be invited for a royal tour.
He said: "I'm certainly hoping there will be one, there's a standing invitation that the royal family are always welcome in Australia.
"It was wonderful to welcome King Charles and Queen Camilla to Australia recently, that had a very successful visit and His Majesty is very engaged and I hope that the Prince and Princess of Wales are able to visit as well and we are hopeful that might occur in the coming period".
Kensington Palace has not confirmed any royal tour to Australia in the near future.
