
Commuters were told on Monday morning not to travel following a major signalling problem experienced at Waterloo Station in London. The train station, which sees an average of 250,00 people crossing through it every day, was impacted by the failure of equipment experienced by South Western Railway.
The organisation, which has apologised for the disruption, warned it could not "use platforms 1 to 14 at this time, significantly limiting capacity".
