Where is The Feud filmed?

The Feud first aired on Channel 5 earlier this year, with actors Jill Halfpenny and Larry Lamb wowing audiences with their performances.

Now, the thriller is finding itself a whole new fanbase as it is now streaming on Netflix, currently ranking just behind A Mother's Son in the top spot for the UK.

The logline reads: "Neighbours on an idyllic suburban street have a falling-out over one family's plan to build an extension to their house."

The Feud stars Jill Halfpenny as Emma Barnett and Rupert Penry-Jones as John Barnett. Other high-profile cast members include Amy Nuttall, Alex Macqueen, James Fleet, Ray Fearon, Larry Lamb and Jamie-Lee O'Donnell.

But where was The Feud filmed? Here's why some of the scenes might look so familiar.

Channel 5's six-part drama The Feud was filmed in the North East of England, specifically in and around Newcastle.

The cast were spotted in various locations last summer, including in Jarrow outside the Town Hall.

Heaton Park was also used as a filming location, as well as next to a coffee van parked outside the Sambuca restaurant on the Pavilion.

Cameras were also seen filming in Midhurst Road in Benton, where production staff revealed they had taken over three houses on the street.

Additionally, Northumberland fans might be interested to learn that the Channel 5 drama also filmed scenes around Morpeth.

When the series first aired, it received mixed reviews, with some viewers branding it "watchable rubbish" and "b****y awful but awfully addictive".

While other fans found the show thrilling, with some calling it "gripping" and "entertaining".

One wrote on IMDb: "I found it very easy to watch all in one go and would recommend giving it watch."

Another agreed: "I read a few scathing reviews before I watched this. I'm glad I didn't go by other people's opinions. I enjoyed watching this mini series. There were lots of surprises during the six episodes."
