Lady Gaga, who sang in front of more than 2 million fans in Brazil, has been resurfacing on the internet for a not-so-good reason. The 2013 video of the ‘Monster’ singer being allegedly rude to Zendaya has been going viral, and the internet has varied opinions.
Was Lady Gaga rude towards Zendaya?
During the 2013 American Music Awards, Lady Gaga, who was at her peak of fame, was giving an interview to a media outlet, where she was all smiles. Beside her was a 16-year-old Zendaya, who was trying to talk to Gaga. However, as the ‘Dune’ actress said, “Nice to meet you-” the 39-year-old singer turned towards the other direction and posed with the interviewer, and the actress was too stunned to speak.
To worsen the situation, Gaga dropped her smile for a second to hand her mic to Zendaya and posed endearingly again. While the argument stands that Lady Gaga was rude to the ‘IT Girl,’ others reckon that Zendaya’s voice was probably not loud enough.
