CHANDIGARH: The Rayat Bahra University (RBU) has bagged the ‘ Best Placement University Award ’ for 2025. Instituted by a private news channel, the award was presented by Punjab minister for higher education Harjot Singh Bains at a function held in Chandigarh.
The minister appreciated that the Rayat Bahra University had launched a number of job-oriented courses which had helped it to excel in the field of placements. The award was received by Gurinder Singh Bahra, Vice-Chairman of Rayat Bahra Group of institutes.
Speaking on the occasion, Bahra said RBU experienced an upswing in placements, with more than 1,400 companies so far visiting the campus and offering jobs in over 50 domains.
He said that the top recruiters included Nestle, Amul, Paytm, SBI General, Axis Bank, Eicher, Amazon, Wipro, Mahindra, Tech-Mahindra,Ranbaxy, Royal-Enfield, Havells and other well-known companies, showcasing a wide range of industries seeking RBU graduates.
The university's emphasis on industry-relevant skills and training programmes contributes to the upswing in placements and the attractiveness of its graduates to companies, Bahra added.
