When firemen got on the scene, they discovered two buildings on the property completely destroyed by flames, according to officials.
In an email to Local 10 News, MDFR stated:
“The call was upgraded to a second alarm for additional man power.. Due to a partial collapse, units switched to a defensive attack, and are still working to extinguish the fire.”

The house near Ponce and Davis roads in South Miami-Dade is shown on camera being consumed by flames. Parts of the house have been demolished, according to a report.

The Miami-Dade property appraiser states that the 5,700-square-foot home with five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms was constructed in 1985. Situated on a 43,000-square-foot site, the house was valued at $5.6 million in 2025.
