A full-circle moment for India’s first Mrs World
In a milestone announcement, Aditi Govitrikar, the first Indian to win Mrs World (2001) has been appointed as the National Director for Mrs World UAE for 2025 and 2026. The appointment was confirmed after she received the official licence from the Mrs World organisation , a moment she described as profoundly emotional.

Calling it a chapter that brings her journey full circle, Aditi said the new role brings back memories of the platform that transformed her life more than two decades ago. “This feels like a full-circle moment. Mrs World changed the course of my life, and to now guide women on this very stage fills me with pride, responsibility, and gratitude,” she shared, reflecting on the appointment.

Who is Aditi Govitrikar?
Aditi Govitrikar brings a unique blend of glamour, intellect, and compassion to her new role. An accomplished Indian actor, she has appeared in Bollywood and regional films such as Paheli alongside Shah Rukh Khan , De Dana Dan, and Bheja Fry 2, and is also known for her television appearances on Bigg Boss (Season 3) and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. She made history as the first Indian to win the Mrs World crown in 2001, a title that shaped her global presence.

Beyond the spotlight, Aditi is a qualified medical doctor with an MBBS, and later pursued advanced training in counselling and mental health, completing a postgraduate degree in Psychology to support women's well-being and confidence-building. Over the years, she has also mentored pageant participants, especially married women guiding them in empowerment, etiquette, leadership, and public speaking.
