US President Donald Trump addressed a viral video during his Oval Office announcement on Wednesday, in which an object appears to be dumped from a White House window—a clip that has sparked intense speculation online.
Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy showed Trump the footage, which has gone viral on X, with millions of viewers asking the same question: What was in the bag?
“No, that's probably AI-generated. You can't open the windows. They're all heavily-armored. I know every window up there. The last place I'd be doing it is there,” Trump said. He added, “They're sealed, and each window weighs about 600 pounds.”
The video shows the object sailing through the air before hitting the ground. While the act appears to violate standard White House security protocols , neither the Secret Service nor the White House provided any explanation, deepening the mystery and fueling online speculation.
